First off we want to thank all 61 backers who backed our project on Kickstarter! We also want to send a big thank you to everyone who helped promote the campaign via social media, print media, blogs, and other avenues. The final total put us at 376% of our funding goal and we are very excited for such a great response. We have received orders from all over the world; from Brazil to Austria to Italy and beyond. Not to mention the large number of orders for rigs to be shipped all throughout the US. The numbers prove that there are a group of filmmakers who are looking for this type of equipment, with the intent of affordability in mind. And the written feedback we have received proves that they want more!

Now that the Kickstarter campaign is over we will move forward into the manufacturing stage and soon will be shipping out rigs to all our new film making friends. One aspect of our campaign included a way for backers to donate a shoulder rig to a local Chicago film school. We were so pleased by the response we received from this option, we have decided to extend this idea into a new long term program.

We will continue to sell shoulder rigs via our website to filmmakers around the world at a great price. We will also have an option for filmmakers who are currently attending film school to get the rig “at cost.”

Students can find out how to get the rig at cost by clicking here.

With the extra funds we received from being over-funded on Kickstarter we will continue to develop a line of affordable film making gear and sell it via our website.

Throughout this whole process our goal has continued to stay the same:
Design, develop and manufacture vital film making tools; at a price that won't break an indie filmmaker's bank.
